Oyam, Uganda – On February 7, 2025, the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and the Ministry of ICT completed the distribution of 230 tablets accompanied by solar panels to residents of Te Yao in Oyam District.
This initiative, known as the Tablet Distribution and Digital Literacy Program, aims to enhance digital skills and increase access to technology among the local population.
The distribution targets to bridge the digital divide by equipping community members with the tools necessary for digital engagement and education.
