FUFA Women super league entity Tooro Queens women football club has signed defender Charity Ayenyo.
Ayenyo joins the Fort Portal based side on a three-month employment contract.
She joins the struggling side in time ahead of the second half of the season to beef up the leaking defence.
In 11 matches played thus far, Tooro Queens has only managed a single win, two draws and a whopping eight losses.
Ayenyo comes with the due experience having previously featured at She Geme and Buddo women football clubs.
“I am willing to work hand in hand with my new coaches and teammates to see that the team is not relegated” assured Ayenyo.
As the second round of the 2024-2025 Finance Trust women super league kicks off, Tooro Queens will entertain Uganda Martyrs Lubaga on Saturday 8th February 2025 at the Buhinga stadium in the tourism city of Fort Portal.
This will definitely mark Ayenyo’s first game at Tooro Queens as the club seeks redemption.
