In a recent interview with the Public Relations team at Kakebe Technologies Limited’s headquarters in Lira City, exciting news has emerged about the upcoming Kakebe Tech Camp 2025. This innovative initiative is designed to empower East African youth with advanced technological skills and entrepreneurial training. The two-week residential camp is set to take place at Jerusalem Heritage School from January 5th to 19th, 2025.

According to Nam Ronny, Program Manager of Kakebe Technologies Limited, “This is the best program any young person would love to attend at the beginning of next year. It’s highly recommended to register early to secure a spot.”

Deborah Okucu, PR for Kakebe Technologies Limited, shared her enthusiasm: “The Kakebe Tech Camp is not just an educational experience; it’s a gateway to a brighter future. We’re thrilled to offer young people the chance to harness the power of technology, develop their talents, and make meaningful connections. This camp is about embracing ICT for the greater good and preparing our youth to be leaders in the digital age.”

Sedrick Otolo, Team Lead and Director of Kakebe Technologies Limited, emphasized the importance of development partners in making the camp a success: “We have hosted several monthly events in Lira City with youths, but this camp is a significant step forward. We believe in the potential of our young people and are committed to providing them with the tools they need to succeed. We invite development partners to support us in making this dream a reality. Your involvement would be greatly appreciated and instrumental in shaping the future of technology in our region.”

The camp fee is UGX 200,000, covering all activities and accommodation for the two weeks. Detailed information about the camp and registration can be found on our website at www.kakebetechcamp.tech.

“We encourage schools, families, and youth organizations to seize this incredible opportunity,” added Deborah Okucu. “Parents are urged to enroll their children, and sponsors are welcome to support this initiative. This is a chance for the youth to make the best use of their holidays by gaining valuable skills and forming lasting connections.”
